Buy a game off of ebay only to find out the description of “looks complete” if way off base? How about a game at a yard sale and it’s missing one small part – that you have to play the game.  Even that favorite family game you found in the garage while cleaning from when you were kids. Many of the games that come through our doors are not fit for public consumption. Instead of not accepting them we give them new life in a different way. The name of the game is remember, relive, recycle.

If there is ever a piece you need, just let us know – if we don’t have it we might be able to find it. If it’s not listed on our site – it could be in our backlog of thousands of pieces just waiting to get photographed and listed.

This week all Wizard of Oz and Wizard of Id goodies are on sale! So whether you are in search of the Wizard or annoyed by him – we have you covered!

Admit it – how many of you dressed up as Dorothy for Hall-o-ween? I played the part of a tornado in my 5th grade play black tights, leotard, streamers, and all. How about clicking your heels or – even just repeated ‘There is no place like home”? We all know the classic story Wizard of Oz and how it wonders and amazes us. It’s important to reintroduce the classics to the next generation – so for you next movie night, cuddle up with your kids, friends, or family and relive The Wizard of Oz. It’s just a touching and endearing story that sticks to your soul. You won’t be disappointed!

Ah the Wizard of Id – oppressed, mid-evil, and just plain funny. This comic strip believe it or not has been around since the 60s and is still going strong. The set of glasses we have available were released by Arby’s who had previously released another set by John Hart known as B.C.  The entire set had six glasses of which we have five available. They are from 1983 (omg THAT long ago?) and came with your meal if you purchased a drink (or purchased them outright for 99 cents.

G1 Minty (1982) Flat Foot

My Little Ponies have always been close to my heart. As a child, my Sister and I had it all – ponies, stable, and even mail order goodies. As an adult it’s great to revisit them. I get to play MLP Beauty Salon, and restore them to their previous glory. It fills me with memories and joy. I’m proud to conserve and restore these abandoned ponies and give them a new lease on life. This is something Misty Star Collectibles is very proud of.  We make the old new again.

Misty Star Collectibles has recently acquired a few MLP collections so keep your eyes out for that dream pony you have been looking for. We have many different variations, and releases. Some of these ponies can already be seen on our new My Little Pony directory page. On the new page you can flip through all the My Little Ponies we have in stock. They are listed in alphabetical order by Generations (oldest to newest)  The newest listings have a white background versus the blue from older listings.

The new listings will include Generation 1, Generation 2, and Generation 3. For the G1

G3 Wind Drifter (2005)

ponies (the original line) look for flat footed ponies, and many others. With the G2 line we have a couple mint on card, which is always a collectors dream. The G3 series is a fun one with tons of ponies and even more variations! That will be the true test of the die hard collector. This set is so much fun with the innocence of the first generation and the variety for the short attention span generation. We at this time have only limited amounts of Ponyville coming available. The newer Friends are Magic sets, will not be available here till they start showing up on the secondary market. We are not the type of resellers that descend on stores buying things out preventing children to rightfully have toys.

So if you are a My Little Pony lover be sure to check us out over the next few weeks as these new beauties make their debut!

Whew! Everything is back to normal – and good to go. No harm no foul! (Though, I think we drove Twitter crazy on Saturday with all the updates required after the migration. )

All Complete Clue Games

Clue has been a staple for generations of families for fun, suspense, and entertainment.  With the characters getting a make-over every few years each generation has their own idea of what makes these characters “tick” and what they. Each game takes about 30 minutes and you can’t stop at just one! Everyone waits to say those dreaded words “Col. Mustard, in the Hall with the Knife!” and know it to be fact!
